Former coaching inn dating back to 1874 (possibly earlier) and now a friendly locals pub. A small public bar (dominated by a pool table) and a large comfortable lounge, both with beamed ceilings, are linked in a reverse J-shape around the bar counters. The fireplace in the lounge has an unusual surround. Live music, disco and/or karaoke every Friday and Saturday evening.
