Popular back-street 19th-century local with long-serving landlord (27 years). Unfortunately, the old Worthington Burton Ales etched windows, indicating the (former) Tap Room, Public Bar, Smoke Room and Snug, have been replaced by plain uPVC units!
Inside, the small public bar and larger lounge are linked in an L-shape around the bar counters, each with local historical memorabilia. There is also a pool/darts room across an open 'corridor' from the bar.
Outdoor drinking at front in summer, on decking at rear, and on lawn beyond car park.
