A pub restaurant with a strong emphasis on quality food, the pub website describes it as a premium country dining venue close to Cannock Chase. There is a drinker's area by the bar. The beer range may vary. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are available. There is a teepee in the garden that can be hired for occasions and events. The beers are always varying, from regional breweries such as Three Tuns, Purity, Titanic & Salopian. Between 1991 & 1993 the pub was known as the Oakhouse Inn.
