Providing a takeaway food service via their new website https://parogonpickup.co.uk/ , includes drinks including draught beer. Previously. Open 4th July to 4th November. The provisions were "The booking system has been amended to control the volume of guests arriving at recognised ‘peak’ times which means arrivals and departures will be staggered throughout the day. The bar areas will operate with a table service via reservations only. The booking system allows you to book in at short notice if there are tables available that can safely accommodate your reservation. Standing at the bar will not be permitted.. There are areas to queue outside the toilets and it is requested that that when the toilets are occupied guests use the designated areas until they become available." Part of the Paragon Pub Group and fully refurbished early in 2018. A pub restaurant with a strong emphasis on quality food, the pub website describes it as a premium country dining venue close to Cannock Chase. There is a drinker's area by the bar. The beer range may vary. Breakfast is served 9-11.30 on Saturday and Sunday. Vegetarian dishes are available. Between 1991 & 1993 the pub was known as the Oakhouse Inn.
