A welcoming pub in the corner of Stafford's Market Square. A series of rooms and distinct areas ramble around a central bar. It offers a selection of well-kept beers (number varies) alongside a range of gourmet burgers. Mondays board games. There is reputedly a tunnel leading from the pub to the cells of the old County Court nearby.
