The Izaak Walton Brewery tap and shop. Six handpumps, beers from the Izaak Walton Brewhouse range. The brewery is now on the site and the pub is closed Sunday to Tuesday to allow for brewing. The bar had been fully refurbished at the time of opening but later in 2021 the exterior was still awaiting refurbishment. The six hand-pulls feature a number of regular beers namely Grayling 3.9%, Rainbow Trout 4.2%, Redeye Bass 4.3% and Woolley Bugger 5.1% (a type of fishing fly !). Others appearing would be, Zonker, Jerkbait, Pike, Ginger and Petrifying Piranha. Tea and coffee are always available with a weekly home-made cake deal. The only other catering is pork pies ! Takeaways are available from single bottles of beer, cider and lager to presentation packs of three or six bottles, five pint boxes of draught beer or lager, quantities subject to order. Also; a fish and chip van attends on the car park on the first Wednesday of the month between 1700 and 1900.
