A large open plan Wetherspoons pub which opened in 2002, the building was previously the town's Post Office. It is on the periphery of the shopping area and a short walk from the Trent & Mersey Cannal. There is a bus stop outside. Food is served all day every day. The pub stocks a wide range of regularly changing real ales including locally produced Lymestone, Slaters, Blythe Brewery and Salopian beers. This pub also has its own beer 'Poste of Stone' brewed by Lymestone which is only available at this branch and is on sale throughout the year. In addition to the usual two Wetherspoon's beer festivals each year they also have a local beer festival each year which includes "meet the brewers" nights.
