A very old roadside pub with parts dating back to the 14th century, and part which was a butcher's shop - hence the butchers bar. The main bar has flagstone floors and there is much exposed woodwork throughout the pub. The main bar has separate games and seating/dining areas and there is also a separate restaurant. Fine Indian Cuisine from Lea Spice served every evening. The pub boasts an interesting array of artefacts and has a petting zoo for children in the garden.
