Originally an old coaching house built in 1865, it has been extended and refurbished. A friendly, every man and his dog, pub it is a smallish in size which maintains two of the original rooms creating a cosy atmosphere, one having a coal or log fire. The Arms is very much into rugby and football showing regular main events and is one of only four free houses in the town.
