Attractive black and white timbered pub, consisting of two small and cosy rooms. The bar is pleasantly basic, and features a lovely open fire as well as a pool table. The lounge is more intimate and plushly furnished. Both rooms feature TVs but thankfully they are not routinely on. Surprisingly large beer garden to the rear, with a child’s sandpit and a large marquee. The pub is directly opposite the entrance to the ancient Polesworth Abbey.
