Roadside pub, largely dedicated to upmarket food but with an increasing commitment to real ale. The guest offerings vary but usually include ales from AJ's. The central island bar serves a variety of areas of differing character, mostly in a rustic style and featuring owl motifs galore. Outdoor seating area to the rear has been recently refurbished to provide lots of tidy and comfortable space.
