Attractive village pub in the Peak District National Park, owned and run by a local village family. It was renovated throughout to include six double ensuite bedrooms, new toilet facilities and the outside has a fresh look with flower beds and a seating area. There is a space invaders machine in the games room in addition to the TV, dart board and pool table.
Five hand pulls, of which three will be from their own micro brewery, Wilsons of Warslow, which could include Firey fred, Ecton copper, Manifold mild, Thor Or Kinsey stout to name a few, with the other two sourced locally from around the area, usually Beartown or Peakstones. There is also a large pub food menu.
It's possible to to get to the pub using the Moorlands Connect bus service if booked in advance. The pub can accommodate self-contained motorhomes and campervans.
