Attractive village pub in the Peak District National Park, owned and run by a local village family. Recently renovated throughout the venue to include 6 Double ensuite bedrooms, all new toilet facilities and the outside as been given a fresh look with flower beds and a seating area. There is a space invaders game in the games room in addition to the TV, dart board and pool table.

Adorning 5 hand pulls of which 3 will vary from their own micro brewery Wilsons of Warslow which could include Ecton, Thor Or Kinsey stout to name a few with the other 2 will be souced locally from in and around the area being usually Beartown or Peakstones. there is also a large pub menu for food. Now brewing their own beer on-site to include: Firey fred, Ecton copper, Manifold mild to name a few. Also www.peakdistrictbeers.co.uk to support local micro breweries and help them retain a good output along with delivering the best local beer to peoples homes, with nationwide delivery.

It's possible to to get to pub via the Moorlands Connect bus service if booked in advance. The pub can also accomodate self contained motorhomes and campervans.
