See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Traditional friendly local just off the Market Square in the great pub town of Leek, formerly called the Union Inn; the old name is still inscribed on the windows. There is a covered smoking area to the back, regular entertainment is provided, and there are 2 or 3 dart boards provided. The back area contains 2 pool tables. The guest beers can hail from many interesting breweries, both local and not so local. The pub won the Potteries Branch pub of the month award in June 2012. Sympathetically but substantially refurbished in 2017 to create a smart modern drinking establishment that caters for all ages. Jukebox contains a massive collection of past hits from not so often seen bands
