Smallish, two-roomed pub on the High Street in this semi-rural village just outside Stoke-on-Trent, with the main lounge on the left hand-side and a pool room to the right. There is a pleasant smokers patio to the rear of the pub overlooking the park and a large car park to the front. The last bus to Hanley is at 634pm, Monday to Saturday and there is a limited Sunday service.
