Situated only 1 mile outside Bridgnorth (take the B4555 south from the town) this smartly refurbished roomy pub is situated in the picturesque heart of Shropshire. A modern take on the traditional family pub where everyone feels welcome. Entrance is via a ramp by the main road to the front door or from the large rear car park, down steps and entering the bar from the patio area. The main bar area is abundant with comfortable seating with a log burning stove adding to the welcoming ambience. Dogs are welcome in the bar area. The Snug and Library dining rooms are located off the bar area and offer private dining for small parties. The large conservatory was replaced in the 2017 and offers panoramic views of the river Severn valley. This pub is very busy with diners during the weekend and booking is advisable. To the rear of the building is a large function room with private bar and patio area and available for private hire, ideal for wedding receptions. Outside the enclosed decked patio area has ample seating and has fine views over the river. From here there are steps down to a grassed lower garden with bench seating. The house beer is G.S.P.A. - Gorgeous Swan Pale Ale which is Ringwood Brewery - Boondoggle 4.2%
