Busy, two-roomed locals pub, dating back to the early 19th-century, re-opened in 2015 as a privately-owned free-house after a lengthy period of closure. Both the two-level public bar (on right) and reverse J-shaped lounge (on left) have been recently refurbished, as has the function/meeting room upstairs. The enclosed garden (patio and field), with picnic tables and smoking shelter, is accessed by a side door off the lounge. Live music or karaoke Friday evenings; poker league Sundays (from 4pm) and Tuesday evenings.
