Typical two room (public bar and lounge) friendly back-street locals pub, built in 1905. Previously a Marston's pub, but now a free-house (since 2013). Pool table in lounge, where can be found several amusing pictures of caricature dogs playing pool. Popular for pub games (10 teams in total), and two football teams are based here.
