See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Set at a crossroads near Madley this pub has large grounds from which can be seen The Black Mountains. It has been recently refurbished but retains much of the character of the old cottages from which it was converted 150 years ago. The food is home prepared and can be enjoyed in the conservatory restaurant situated off the main bar. There is a roaring log fire in the winter, a well kept garden and a caravan site, a welcoming pub for all seasons.
