Tucked away down a picturesque cobbled alley leading up to the church, this 16th century timber-framed pub boasts two bars, plus an alcove where a folk jam session is held each Wednesday evening. A multi-award winner, it is a genuine community pub - always bustling with locals and visitors. Rosies Pig and Snailsbank draught ciders are available as well as one rotating craft beer and an extensive range of foreign beers in bottles and cans. The bar meals are good value (booking advisable for Sunday roasts).
