A beautiful, part black-and-white building in delightful surroundings - a real classic country pub, with parts dating from 1485. There are two bars and a separate restaurant. Although food of high quality predominates, drinkers are welcome. Booking is advised at most times for the freshly-prepared bar meals at lunchtime and a la carte in the evening.
